ill-esha's track, "Coward" is featured this month as part of the Knowledge Magazine May issue mix CD, mixed by Subject 13 of Vibez Recordings. Big ups to Vibez for thinking of me!!
One of the feature singles from the Perfect Circuitalbum, Broken Windows (which can be heard on ill-esha's myspace page) placed in the top 3 finalists of the 2007 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
On the drum'n'bass report: Although featured on a Renegade Hardware mix CD, ill-esha's much-lauded collaboration with Castor, "Not The Way" will unfortunately not be released through that label - we are currently shopping for a new deal. "Universe" (with DJ Roots & TheEgo) hit #1 on junodownloads.com on the singles chart!! A new side project with Slovakian prodigy B-Complex , currently known as "Ill-Complex" has signed its first tune (a remix of Broken Windows) to label Section 8.
ill-esha is also very excited to be a part of Outrage, Aperture and Kirsty Hawkshaw's new project - Whisper Audio - this promises to be a new and exciting direction for drum 'n' bass, with luminaries like Digital involved.
